Argentina
One of the striking facts about Argentina is the geographical and cultural diversity the country offers. The population comprises a mixture of European immigrants and native people. When traveling in Agentina you can choose to spend time at the beaches, go trekking and climbing, or even skiing in the Andes. You can head to the famous vineyards in the Mendoza province and Cafayate for wine tasting tours; to the Pampas or Patagonia for a relaxing stay at a traditional ranch (estancia), experience the Indian cultures in the north, or the penguins and whales in the south.

Buenos Aires
Known for its sophisticated culture and exciting nightlife, Buenos Aires is a large, complex, passionate, energetic port city that stretches along the Rio de la Plata. Talkative Porteños, as the residents are called, have a rich and diversified cultural identity. The city is an interesting blend of styles. The mosaic of eclectic barrios and the city’s artistic legacy provides a wide variety of settings where modern skyscrapers cast their shadows on 19th century houses. Tango bars, antique shops, bohemian neighbourhoods, street markets and “beef” restaurants are some of the treasures you can find in the city. Students in Buenos Aires can experience one of the liveliest and most diverse Latin American cultures while taking part in a myriad of activities that challenge both the mind and body.

The study center
KULTUR STUDIER’s study center is incorporated in the largest university in Argentina, Universidad de Buenos Aires. We use the university’s lecture rooms, library, and reading areas and our students have the possibility to join the great student environment.

Accommodation
Students live in guesthouses in central Buenos Aires. Two to four people share a room and the standard is rustic and charming. Single rooms are available for an additional fee. Food is not included in the study-fee and this is due to the fantastic and endless supply of cheap and good food in Buenos Aires’ many restaurants and cafés.
