Your semester abroad

With Kulturstudier you can study in a tropical country, with full credits – in English. The programs are administrated by Scandinavian universities and qualify for loans from most state educational loan funds. The examinations are taken at the study location and as assignments. You can choose between the spring and autumn semesters, or you can take two semesters in different countries. The autumn semester usually starts at the end of August, the spring semester in February. A short self-study programme is arranged to help you to start studying before you leave home. 

A semester withKulturstudier in Argentina, Ghana, India, Nicaragua or Vietnam can form part of a degree at university. If you intend to study for a bachelor’s degree, a semester withKulturstudier can be incorporated either as a major, minor, or elective course, depending on the subject you are to study in your degree. A semester with Kulturstudier can also be included as part of various vocational degrees as specialisation or optional subjects.
