Hedvig

My name is Hedvig and I will be studying development studies in Hoi An this spring. After high school, I have chosen to take a gap year to figure out what I want to do next, and not least to take the opportunity to go to a part of the world I have not been to before and experience something new and exciting.

A semester with Kulturstudier seemed like the right choice for me. Not only will I get to travel to Vietnam, but I will also have the opportunity to live there for a longer period and have a daily life that is completely different from my life back home in Norway. That way, I will get to know local traditions, food and ways of life better than I would as a tourist.

I am looking forward to getting to know the city, the other students and at the same time gaining an understanding of global (and personal) development.

I look forward to sharing experiences and lessons learned in the coming months!
